Chef Rangi Mitaera-Johnson from the Cook Islands is an extraordinary cook who shared her business model at a recent Regional Agritourism Workshop organised in Nadi, Fiji (1-2 April 2019). She runs a small resort with her husband and cooks traditional food very appreciated by visitors as well as by locals. Chef Rangi has a strong sense of community involvement and ensures that employment and services are created in the island within the agritourism sector.
