Quarter 2, 2019 Review on Visitor Arrivals for SPTO member countries
The SPTO has released its Quarter 2 2019 Review on Visitor Arrivals for SPTO member countries (including Palau). This quarterly report presents a comparative analysis of visitor arrivals in Pacific Island countries in the June Quarter of 2019, over the corresponding quarter in 2018.
Of the twenty (20) Pacific Island countries, twelve (12) responded with the required data, with estimates for Kiribati and Timor Leste.
In this edition, the SPTO has expanded the market analysis coverage by disaggregating South Korea, an emerging source market from Other Asia. The destination analysis has also broadened to include Wallis & Futuna, a new member country of SPTO.
